SANCHALANA is a three day residential capacity building program conducted exclusively for the HIV infected. The primary focus of the programme is building up an independent life for the patients. On all three days they would be given with training on what all could be done by themselves in making their life much healthy and worthy. For the programme we make use of services of Human Resource Trainers, Art of Living Team, Yoga Therapist, Meditation Experts, ART Medical Team, Vocational Trainers etc.
SAHAYATHRA:
SAHAYATHRA is a capacity building programme exclusively for nursing students to create awareness about HIV/AIDS, thereby enriching their knowledge to strengthen their minds to treat the People living with HIV/AIDS without fear. In this programme we also give focus on precautionary methods to be adopted in treating those patients. Knowledge on PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis) is also imparted.
DAYADEEPTHI:
This programme was conducted every alternative month for the registered patients of the centre. But now the territory of the services is expanded to all PLHIVs. DAYADEEPTHI exclusively for the little innocent victims (Children) is also conducted. Through this one day programme we intend to provide follow-up, free medical checkup, diagnostic services and provision of nutritional supplement for the participants. This also pave way to strengthen the centre’s outreach programmes.
We are now on the verge of bringing in a new programme exclusively for the ANC cases with prime focus on their health care; availing knowledge on medical facilities for them; the need of use of drugs during pregnancy in prevention of the disease getting into their babe; the need to providing of drug to the new born within the prescribed time; the way of caring the newborn during the early days and so on.

World AIDS Day Programme:
On every December 1st Dayabhavan becomes part of the World AIDS Day Programme. The programme is truly a Social Action against the stigma and discrimination related with HIV/AIDS. More than 1000 students from different schools and colleges in and around Kunigal takes part in the procession proclaiming support to the poor unfortunates (both infected and the affected) of HIV/AIDS. After the procession a public meeting is held. It is followed by a blood donation campaign in which hundreds become part of. The same is provided to poor HIV/AIDS patients who require blood transfusion.
