Community Care Programme
Community Care Centre:
Our CCC provides comprehensive care, support and counseling to PLHIV. Medical management of opportunistic infections, nursing care, personal care, nutritional support for families etc. are components of this comprehensive care and support. Of the 30 beds in the centre, 10 beds, under the GFATM-6 CCC project, are funded by NACO through its implementing Agency KHPT. The rest are funded by the institution itself.

DOTS Provider:
Dayabhavan is an authorized DOTS Provider. The Tuberculosis patients after treatment in our centre are referred to the respective Public Health Centre for continuation of treatment.

Integrated Counseling and Testing Centre:
The ICTC of Dayabhavan provides HIV testing and counseling to the high risk and suspected groups. Through this department we also conduct camps in high risk areas. Both Pre-test and Post-test counseling are provided in this department. The centre is authorized by KSAPS (Karnataka State AIDS Prevention Society) but is fully funded by the institution.

Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme(RNTCP):
Through Sputum collection and sputum Transportation Schemes of RNTCP under Government of India, Dayabhavan makes an attempt to trace out the Tuberculosis patients in their early stage and avail DOTS to them.
